Problem

You may have footage that needs to be rotated this may be because:

• You had the camera on its side when recording
• You are trying to add a bit of artistic flare

Solutions:

Quicktime

1. Export the portion of the video out of iMovie as a Full Quality DV file
2. Open the DV file in Quicktime PRO
3. Hit Command-J to bring up the video information. Select "track" and "size"
   
4. Click Adjust
5. 
   Put your mouse in the center and spin the video to the desired angle
6. Click Done
7. Make sure you save the video self-contained

Plugins

Both Slick and Stupendous have plugins that will rotate the clip

There is a free plug-in called Turn Clip from CF/X
